Cadillac Racing
Social Race Posters
As a special way to celebrate the Cadillac Racing team and get fans excited about upcoming races, a series of race posters was created for the 2026 season and shared on the team social channels. I illustrated the “posters” for the Detroit Grand Prix, Road America, and Petit Le Mans.
Whether the Grand Prix has taken place in the streets of downtown Detroit or on the track at Belle Isle, the Renaissance Center, which housed the GM headquarters for three decades, was visible in the background of the race and often made an appearance in posters. GM has since moved into the new Hudsons building, which like the RenCen, has a very bold and distinct architectural shape, represented by the four stripes in the center. This illustration is a nod to the past and look towards the future.
Road America is nicknamed “America’s National Park of Speed” for its stunning natural grounds. I decided to lean into the track’s monicker and create the race poster in the style of a WPA National Park poster.
The Petit Le Mans is a 10-hour endurance race hosted in Georgia (petit-er than the 24-hour race in France.) Inspired by vintage botanical illustrations, this poster features the Cadillac race cars zooming around the famous official state fruit.
